How to get to Kopaonik
Are you planning a trip to Kopaonik and wondering what the easiest way to get there from Belgrade is? Kopaonik is approximately 270 kilometers from Belgrade, and there are two main routes leading to the mountain, both nearly the same in distance and travel time.
In this guide, we provide a precise and clear explanation of how to get from Belgrade to Apartments Oaza in Kopaonik, located in the Vikend Naselje area of Kopaonik.
First route – A1 Highway (Belgrade–Niš) – Morava Corridor – Brus – Kopaonik
- You take the Belgrade–Niš highway in the direction of Niš (A1).
- After 144 km from the Vrčin toll station, exit the A1 highway and merge onto the Morava Corridor (E761).
- After 173 km from the Vrčin toll station, exit the Morava Corridor at the Kruševac–Koševi interchange (you will pass the Kruševac East and Kruševac West exits).
- Upon entering Stopanja, you will encounter a sharp left turn toward Kopaonik and Aleksandrovac.
- At the roundabout near the MOL gas station, take the exit toward Brus.
- After passing through Brus, follow the road signs. The next important intersection is for the village of Brzeće (left), but you should continue right toward the center of Kopaonik.
- After passing the center of Kopaonik, continue toward Vikend Naselje. After a few kilometers, at the intersection for Jošanička Banja (straight-right), turn left toward Vikend Naselje.
- After a few more kilometers, when you see the signs for Maxi supermarket and Kraljevi Čardaci, you have reached your destination.

Second route – Miloš Veliki Highway – Čačak – Kraljevo – Jošanička Banja
- You take the Miloš Veliki Highway.
- After 90 km from the Obrenovac toll station, take the exit for Čačak and continue toward the Preljina interchange.
- After the toll station, continue to the first roundabout and take the straight exit.
- After 600 meters, you will reach a second roundabout where you continue straight, following the sign for Kopaonik (road toward Mrčajevci and Kraljevo).
- At the roundabout before Kraljevo, continue straight, and do the same at the second roundabout 800 meters later (follow the signs for Kopaonik and Raška).
- At 184 km from the Obrenovac toll station, you will reach an intersection where you turn left toward Jošanička Banja and Kopaonik (turning right leads to Raška).
- At the intersection just before Kopaonik, turn right toward Vikend Naselje (straight ahead leads to the town center).
- After a few more kilometers, when you see the signs for Maxi supermarket and Kraljevi Čardaci, you have reached your destination.

Notes:
- On the route via the Miloš Veliki Highway, there are fewer gas stations compared to the Belgrade–Niš highway, so make sure your fuel tank is at least half full.
