Paragliding on Kopaonik is an exciting aerial sport that makes the dream of flying come true, using a motorless parachute. Flying is done tandem with a pilot and passenger together, usually launching from a slope, most often from the Orlove Stene location. The equipment includes the parachute (wing), harness, reserve parachute, helmet, protective gear, and navigation equipment, with safety as a top priority. Flights last about 30 minutes, with the possibility of reaching up to 3,000 meters in altitude. Ideal weather conditions allow flights lasting several hours, with a record distance of 400 km.
